I'm Riding For

Phil Rochow, Wendy Krushka, Belinda Douglass & David Fry

In 2013, my much loved uncle Phil Rochow lost his battle with cancer and during 2014, my aunty-in-law Wendy Krushka also succumbed to cancer. Late 2015 my wife lost her high school friend at only 39 y/o to brain cancer, and more recently another young life in David Fry at 37, was taken from mesothelioma. Though this fund raiser is for the children affected by cancer, personally it is for the memory of these 4 people who have passed from my family's lives.

My Story

This October, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Because right now, cancer is the largest single killer of children from disease in Australia – over 700 children are diagnosed with cancer every year and sadly, 3 die every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

And so I am riding and raising funds to support the Children's Medical Research Institute to continue their work into the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and finding a cure for childhood cancer.
