• 🚴‍♂️ “A Ride Through the Potholes of Life”
    16 Oct 2025

Well, I managed a big ride today on Bluey, my trusty scooter. My right knee’s feeling it a bit — every bump and pothole gave me a reminder that healing takes time.

But honestly, that pain is nothing compared to what the kids and families go through every single day. Their strength puts mine to shame.

So I’ll keep riding, limping, or scootering — whatever it takes — because every kilometre and every dollar matters.

Please, if you can, share this story with someone who might be able to help. Every share, every donation, and every word of encouragement keeps hope alive for these incredible kids.

    Hi Team of Hope! 💙

You’re all doing an incredible job — the donations, the kilometres, the spirit — it’s inspiring to see!

Yesterday, I was riding my scooter through the streets of Melbourne and met so many wonderful people. I spoke about each of you to anyone who would listen. Even though I had to jump on the train for part of the trip, I still managed a solid 10 km on the scooter!

To everyone who has donated — thank you sincerely. Your support means the world. I know it can sometimes feel awkward to ask others, but please keep sharing the story — it truly helps these amazing kids and their families. Every share, every word, every kilometre makes a difference.

Thank you all for your incredible effort and heart.

    No broken promises! 💪

P.S. I found a broken bike on the street — and it reminded me why we ride.

Get well soon, Dad and Marta! ❤️

  • Day 2
    2 Oct 2025

I left after work and put the lights on and hit the road. Heading out to see some friends.

I started on the sidewalk of Bell street, I found every crack in the road and only improved once I hit then bike track south, technically a small gradient down hill, but it never quite felt that easy.

Well today I hit the road on my four wheel scooter with my broken leg following me. It was a great day to remind myself how lucky Iam!
