• Well, we finished!!!!!!
    24 Nov 2025

Hello to all of our family and friends, we were finally able to finish our ride on the weekend. Unfortunately Mum and I were unable to finish at Uluru, as the bike tracks were closed due to the rain, so, we finished in our home town as a group collective inclusive of four generations.

Together, we cycled over 500 kms and raised almost $1400.

A big thank you to our team of riders and supporters, both financially and morally!!! We couldn't have done it without you.

Here is a photo of Mum and I in our riding outfits, ready to ride around Uluru, in spite of the closed tracks. We were there, ready and willing to ride that 10kms!. Maybe another year.

  • Only 59 kms to go!!
    8 Nov 2025

Hello to our lovely friends and family. Thank you for taking the time to read our update and for your continued support!

We are 59 kilometres away from our final goal of riding 500 kms to support children’s cancer research.

Next weekend we are splitting off into our interstate groups and we will be completing our ride at the same “time” (around 11am EDST). Personally, I am very proud of our achievements this year.

In addition to our riding goal, we have now raised more money this year than any other year! Who would have thought we would raise $1300!!!!

Each year when I start these challenges, I always think “Oh I will just donate myself and complete the ride for the kids”.

Then, I share it around a little and the momentum just grows to where we are now!!!

Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!!

Please keep an eye out for future updates and please share this page with as many people as possible!

    Maybe we could reach $2000????

  • Last day for riding - or is it????
    31 Oct 2025

Hello to all of our family and friends.

Today is the official last day of our riding challenge for October. We haven't quite made it to our goal of 500 kms, but we are so very close.

So.......... the good news is that we are going to keep on pedaling until Sunday 16th of November.

How are we going to do that??

Well, we are going to keep on riding for a few more weeks as a combined team and then complete our ride as a dual state group - most of us will be in NSW (L,I,R,M,E,A), and the other two will be in Uluru (K and H).

As we will be in two different time zones, I plan to finish my last 10kms at 9.30am (CST) at the base of Uluru and the rest of the team will finish their last 38 kms at 11.00am (EDST) in our home town.

Mum will be my official photographer (recording the end of my ride at the base of Uluru) and there will be a designated photographer recording the event in our home town in NSW.

Keep an eye out for some great photos from both NT and NSW on that Sunday morning just after midday (16th of November).

Thank you to everyone for supporting us and helping to raise money for children's cancer research. We could not have done this without you all!!

There is still time to donate to this amazing cause!!!!

    From our hearts to yours,

    Kylie and the team.

  • We have exceeded our fundraising goal
    8 Oct 2025

To all of our wonderful friends and family! We have exceeded our goal of $500, thanks to our very generous donors (you know who you are). We will keep on riding and fundraising to see how much money we can raise in the remaining weeks of October and into early November. Thank you everyone. It is very inspiring - we will ride again this afternoon. Photos to come.
