    3 Nov 2025

It was down to the wire to complete my 1000km challenge ride on the last day of the month. Able to cross the finish line to be greeted by the Pit Crew. Best scones on the coast 👌 yum. Love the journey and support during October.

  • Day 28 "On the way home now "
    27 Oct 2025

99 km to go and rain forecast for the rest of the week. It's doable, and I will give it a good crack.

Yesterday's ride, i took out a flock of ducks coming. off the Dawson River bridge. I don't know who got the biggest fright, all ok.

  • Day 20 and Rolling 👍
    20 Oct 2025

Nice day out to Coopernook and back to crack the 800Kms so far this month. Parts of the road was one lane and 40kms speed limited so it not so hectic. Yesterday was a bit tough riding into the stiff northeaster. You still have time to support the kids.

    So far:-

    1 x flat tyre

    A couple of Magpie swoops

Chased by seven dogs all at once

  • DISASTER at 267
    7 Oct 2025

All smooth sailing till disaster struck at 267 kms just 3 kms from home. Back tyre flat as!!! Looks like I picked up a fencing staple. However, at the kerbside, I was unable to remove it with my fingers. An embarrassing walk home.

Once consoled it required my trusty side cutters to delicately remove to my surprise a fastening pin. All repaired and ready to go again.

  • Magpie Attack
    24 Sep 2025

On my training ride today, I came under a serious magpie attack outward bound near the Big Oyster. Luckily, there was no repeat performance on the homeward leg. Looks like I will have to run the gauntlet every time I head north out of town.

However, not long now to doing some serious kms.

  • Riding for Audrey with love ❤️
    24 Sep 2025

It that time of year again as I set off in the Great Cycle Challenge. This year I'm riding for Audrey. At just 1year-old she has been diagnosed with grade 4 medulloblasdtoma in March just after first birthday.

She has endured multiple surgeries including a 12-hour surgery to remove the majority of her 4.5cm tumour, intensive chemotherapy and countless other pokes, prods and procedures.

So, I'll be riding for Audrey and I chase down the kms.

I am looking forward to your support of me and Audrey in this year Challenge.
