What a start! Legs are feeling good, recovery hasn’t been perfect with everything else going on, but that’s fine it’s all part of it. Honestly, it’s been so much fun just getting on the bike again and feeling back in the groove.

Even better, we’ve already raised $891 in the first week absolutely unreal. Massive thanks to Cycliq, Pure Sports Nutrition, and Giant Ocean Keys for backing me and keeping the rides smooth.

I can’t wait to build up the hours, get stronger, and see how far we can push this over the next few weeks. Week 2, let’s go! 🚴‍♂️💨

It’s officially 8 weeks to go until the Yanchep to Yallingup ride and I’ve just started getting back into things. Training has been building steadily and I’ve ticked off 220 kilometres so far this week, which is a solid start. Taking a gradual approach is important, especially early on, but it’s been great to get the legs turning again and start settling back into the routine. I’m excited to keep building from here, stay consistent, and really get stuck into the preparation as the ride gets closer.
