Started the week Tuesday with 75 km but had a fall and damaged the hanger on my bike and scuffed the brake lever. Day after hit 228 km in 7 hours, simulating the big day on March 26. Wednesday the legs didn’t show up so 2 hours 10 minutes at 160 watts felt awful. Took Friday off to recover and reset, then Saturday delivered 200 km in 6 hours and fuelling went really well. Finished the week Sunday with 80 km, just rolling and enjoying it.
20 hours of riding for the week, 648 km, 3,760 m of climbing and 17,055 calories burned. Big week, some rough patches but also some really strong rides. This week we roll into recovery week to absorb the load, will drop to 14 hours and then build again.
