My Story

This October, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer! I have given myself a goal of 50kms which is really far for my little legs. Sometimes my legs get tiered, but that’s ok, I can still keep riding.

Because right now, cancer is the largest single killer of children from disease in Australia – over 700 children are diagnosed with cancer every year and sadly, 3 die every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

And so I am riding and raising funds to support the Children's Medical Research Institute to continue their work into the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and finding a cure for childhood cancer.

Friday night racing

Tonight we raced at BMX. We haven’t been for a few weeks. They have re surfaced the track and it was extra smooth. I got 2nd twice tonight, and had a few close calls with other riders on some of the berms.

Home from school

We rode home from school and got to do some laps at the skate park. Dad had to make a work call so we didn’t get too long there. We rode past via the river and the dip again.

Today we rode to school, we had to stop in to see mum to get my hat from her car. We didn’t have time to do skate park laps this time.

Rode home from school the long way. Stopped at the skate park. I had a little crash on the tabletop, but I’m ok. I love using the sides of the bowl like a berm. Then down to the river and back up the dip.
