For the third year in a row, I'm joining the Great Cycle Challenge, an initiative aimed at raising funds for vital research in pediatric cancer. We all know that as we age, cancer becomes an unfortunate reality. But what breaks my heart is the sight of young, innocent children battling this ruthless disease before they even get a chance to truly live.

In just a few days, my granddaughter will turn 18 months old, and witnessing her growth and potential is a constant reminder of the bright futures that should await all kids. That's why I'm reaching out to you, my dear friends, with a special request.

I'm setting out on a challenging journey this October, pledging to ride 500 kilometers and raise $2500 in support of the Children Medical Research Institute (CMRI). Their groundbreaking work is a beacon of hope for kids fighting cancer.
