This October 2024, I am once again taking part in my fifth Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

After a rough preparation the last few months, I am getting back on the bike in September so that I may be ready to tackle this October challenge head on and help this most worthy cause.

Some information about why I am doing this ride, and continue to do this ride every year since I found out about it.

Right now, cancer is the largest single killer of children from disease in Australia – that over 600 children are diagnosed with cancer every year and sadly, 3 kids don’t make it, every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

And so I am again riding and raising funds to support the Children's Medical Research Institute to continue their work into the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and finding a cure for childhood cancer.

I know very well that life if very tough these days, the increase costs in everything these days make it hard, but just think about how much harder it would be for these kids.
