….. every kid who has to: miss school, lose their friends’ daily orbit, get used to needles, hospital food, losing their hair, months of nausea. Become “the kid with cancer.” Get told to rethink their future before they’ve even started it. Appointment after appointment, result after result. Missed camp, again. Learn her own MRN by heart. Feel like it’s a win when dad finds a park near the hospital. Spend weeks, months, back in that building. Another canula. Sometimes retreat somewhere dark and private, all their own….. No kid should have to carry this. And yet they do — stoic, resilient, unfairly stuck fighting this disease. Cancer. Every dollar we raise is a shot at a cure — funding the research and trials that give these kids a real future. Every bit helps. Every year. Thank you. Matt

My Story

This October, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Because right now, cancer is the largest single killer of children from disease in Australia – over 600 children are diagnosed with cancer every year, and sadly, 3 die every week. Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

And so I am riding and raising funds to support the Children's Medical Research Institute to continue their work into the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and finding a cure for childhood cancer.
