My Story
My name is Kayden, and I turn 10 years old this October.
This year marks my 6th year riding to raise funds to help fight childhood cancer. When I was 4 years old, I learnt that cancer doesn't just affect adults, it can affect children too. It made me sad to think that kids my age can spend their days in hospital, undergoing treatment, instead of simply enjoying being kids.
That's why I have made a commitment to use my bike riding to support the Children's Medical Research Institute and the important work they do in preventing, diagnosing, treating and ultimately finding a cure for childhood cancer.
I believe kids should be living life, not fighting for it.
I may be only 10 years old, but every dollar raised can help make a difference for children and families facing cancer.

Big Ride Day - 32.4km!
10 Oct 2026First big ride day of this year checked off! Started from Belco and rode all the way down to Woden for a 21km journey. Then, after getting hitching a ride back with the support car (thanks mum!) for lunch, got back on the bike to ride a further 11.4km back to home.
All up 32.4km in a single day- best day thus far!
