I'm Riding For

Children with Cancer

Having survived my own cancer journey, and as a Theatre Nurse I seen to often patients undergoing surgery in their journey in their cancer treatment. I hope that very soon this research helps end childhood cancer and help in the management of adult cancer.

My Story

This October, I am again taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer! This will be my 9th year of the GCC, and have a stronger motivation as I went through my own cancer journey and do hope that soon children do not have to go through such journeys.

Because right now, cancer is the largest single killer of children from disease in Australia – over 600 children are diagnosed with cancer every year and sadly, 3 die every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

And so I am riding and raising funds to support the Children's Medical Research Institute to continue their work into the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and finding a cure for childhood cancer.
